Outings

I had this grand thought when summer first started that E and I would go on a "field" trip each day. Boy, did I high hopes! I am absolutely loving being HOME this summer. Some days we don't leave the house, no grocery, no Target, no where! I love that we wear our comfy clothes and lounge in the morning. I love that E will bring me almost every book she owns (downstairs) to me and have me read it to her. I love our special morning times that we have over breakfast and sometimes part of a Madeline episode. I love the "dance" parties we have in the middle of the living room too. I love all these things about summer. But I also love an outing. Sometimes it is a nice way to break up the day. We had our first outing of the summer today (for my one or two other readers, please let me know if you want to do something too!). We went to the Pink Palace with my good friend Ashley and her little girl. E loved the circus! Then we went and ate a Swanky's...E had her own dance party (she loves to boogie!) while she chowed down some guacamole!
