Super Fun!

We had a super fun weekend. Nothing too excited, but lots of family time!

Saturday, Ryan and I went out to tend to the garden. We still have a long way to go, but after spending almost 7 hours out there we are making progress. Spinach and romaine lettuce is sprouting up, along with LOTS of corn. We finished planting everything except peppers, pumpkins, and blueberries. That will give us corn, sweet potato, tomato, okra, watermelon, cantaloupe, squash, zucchini, strawberries, romaine, spinach, eggplant, and green beans. Hopefully, we will have a good harvest and have lots of yummy food and have plenty to share.

When we got home, E tasted the first tomato of the season. (I did too...and it was delicious!)

What else can cure hot and tiredness??? JERRY'S SNOWCONES!

Then sadness set in...no more snowcone.

By the time we got home,it was time for dinner. My mom had been talking about Five Guys Burgers and Ryan decided that he wanted to go and try it out. So off we went. Needless to say Eleanor LOVED it! She at part of my burger and my bun too. I went to throw the other part of the bun away and she walked over to the trash looking for it. I guess she thought it was that good : )

Needless to say, we were all very tired by the time we got home. E on the other hand...

We woke up Sunday to lots of rain. After church, E took a nap. Not much of a nap, but a nap. I think she is getting another tooth, because she would not sleep that night. We laid her down about 7 and she was screaming crying by 8. We got her up and tried to soothe her. Nothing seemed to help. By 9:45 we were all tired, so we put her in the car and drove around. Thankfully, that did the trick because it was a school night - but the last one till the fall!!!
