I Can Do That!

I do not like spending money...well I just don't like spending lots of money.  When it comes to buying something, pre-made or making it myself I usually make it myself (time and money considered).  Which leads me to projects one and two of my long list of things I need to finish by Halloween.

Project #1 - Have you seen those adorable burlap door hangers?  I was going to have a birthday one made for Eleanor, but when I look on Etsy and cost was $40 I thought...I can do that!  So I did...for less than 10 bucks!

Project #2 -
This project is a long time coming...2 years to be exact.  I have been wanting curtains for the dinning room (and living room) for a while now.  I feel like curtains make a room feel finished and not so much like I just moved in and am still living out of boxes : )  (By the way...we are still living out of some boxes that are awaiting furniture to be built)

Again, I went on a search for curtains and could not find any that I loved in a price range that I was willing to pay.  So...with some measurement and straightening guidance from my mother-in-law and the help of this great tutorial , I was able to make this beauties...
