A Must Try

We had a HUGE garage sale on Saturday. My mom is downsizing....which also means that all my "stuff" from her house had to go as well. Ryan said that I should have taken a picture of the before, but as sure as I did we would have to sold a thing. It took about 6 car loads and 1 trailer load to get it here. The sale was advertised 7-12....it ran from 6:15-1. Steady All.Day.Long! By the end of the day all that was left was two trunk loads that went straight to Goodwill. I didn't want anything coming back inside my house. Spring cleaning is calling my name next week!

So, the real reason for this post??? After a hard day of work...we went out for a treat! It is the Mexican ice cream and popsicle shop on Summer Ave. La Michoacana has homemade ice cream and lots of other yummy treats. They will let you try it all (except the Popsicles for obvious reasons). We tried a few different types of ice cream...the German, pineapple and cheese, and pinenut. There were probably about 20 to choose from. They also have iced fruit drinks. I tried a sample of one, but couldn't quite understand the name, but it was good. I ended up with the German...oh my goodness was it good! We got Weezy the Watermelon Popsicle. It was pure watermelon frozen. Super good...and pink for our pink girl! At one point she wanted to eat both. So silly!
